Directions to Robin Hood Tower,

Handy hint! following your Sat' Nav' all the way to the DE4 5HF datum will take you just beyond the driveway, so please look out for the green sign at the top of the drive.
Then simply follow the driveway all the way to the bottom where you will see a sign "Visitor's Parking"
A6 travelling from Matlock / Cromford.
Leave the A6 by turning left at “The Family Tree” cafe, turn up the hill towards Crich on the B5035.
A6 travelling from Ambergate / Derby.
Leave the A6 by turning right at “The Family Tree” cafe, turn up the hill towards Crich on the B5035.
Go over the Cromford canal bridge and immediately turn left onto “Robin Hood”. This road is also sign posted to Holloway.
You’ll drive through woodland for about 1/3 of a mile before reaching the hamlet of Robin Hood. You will see a sign on the left listing each of the properties in Robin Hood at the top of the driveway.
Turn left off the road and onto the driveway, taking care as you wind your way downhill alongside the stream. Follow the drive all the way to the end, and you're here, alongside the Cromford Canal, surrounded by woodland: Welcome!
Leave the centre of Crich up the hill,
with the chapel on your left, this is the B5035, Sandy lane.
Very soon you’ll start the long descent into the Derwent valley with houses on both sides.
Near the bottom of the hill, as the houses end on the right hand side, take the first right after the school, sign posted to Holloway.
This is immediately before the bridge over the canal.

Please note that the driveway is a little narrow with a tight bend at the bottom leading into our ample parking area beside the Tower. This is easily negotiated at low speed in most cars. Drivers of very large vehicles or those with a long wheel base might be wise to park on the roadside first and walk down: Thank you
